There are so many “NEW” things out there all the time, between methods and software. How do you keep your head on straight and know what to use and what not to use? I just find myself getting really overwhelmed with all of it.

I’m sort of new. My first site is still lost. The last one I did I had blog commenting done. Still learning how to do that myself. Can you tell me how many blog comments are needed based on the monthly searches?

@William: How many directories do you send your site to? Do you submit manually or use software? I have submitted to DMOZ.org by hand and paid to have the rest submitted.
